Unfortunately due to lack of cooperation by the City of Detroit, Troop Trot will not take place this Veteran's Day. The city refused to cooperate with the MDVC until the very late stages of planning. Due to time constraints we cannot successfully execute this years event.

However, we are continuing to work with the MDVC in this years' Veteran's Day Parade. A special section of the parade will be given to Troop Trot. Any person that would've liked to participate in the event in some capacity, whether it be runner, walker or volunteer, is invited to take place in the parade.

Furthermore, we are planning to bring Troop Trot 5K back this coming late spring or early summer. Details to follow.

Thank you to our supporters this year. We hope to have you back in a few months!!

Troop Trot 2011

It's official! We're back for 2011! Troop Trot will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 in Downtown Detroit. We've joined forces with the Metropolitan Detroit Veterans Coalition, Inc. to bring you not only Troop Trot but the Detroit Veteran's Day Parade as well!

Cookie Packages

Thank you to Girl Scout Troop 369 for all their help putting together packages full of yummy Girl Scout cookies for our troops. I'm sure they will love them!

Over 200 boxes of cookies were sent to soldiers! Plenty to share with others and enjoy themselves.
